Published by

Big news over at Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where Lori Senecal has been named as Global CEO, a newly created position that will see her steering CP+B through its ongoing global growth and expansion by managing the coordination of the firm's eight international offices. She will also be retaining her role as president and CEO of the MDC Partners network, a role she claimed last year, in which she has worked closely with the leadership of agencies that represent the greatest growth and impact within the MDC Partners family. Senecal is an industry thought leader and management specialist, who has been a pioneer in embracing technology, innovation and invention on a global level. Her appointment to this new role arrives at a time when CP+B really have the wind in their sails, with recent business wins following a year of aggressive new-business efforts including the $450 million Infiniti global creative account.

Before KBS (which named it's own global CEO in the shape of Guy Hayward back in January), Senecal served as president at the flagship McCann Erickson office in New York. After being appointed to the board of MDC Partners last year, she was also named a Woman to Watch by Advertising Age, and has been honoured numerous times for her achievements in the industry, including at the AWNY Game Changer Awards with a Quantum Leap award for leadership and innovation. She's also acted as Jury Chair for the Issac Awards for the last two years. As part of the appointment, Andrew Keller, who will remain in the US CEO role, will report to Senecal, as will UK and international CEO Richard Pinder and President Steve Erich. A spokeswoman said the shifts will “Give everyone a chance to focus on what they are great at.”
